It's okay (imo), it's just helpful to look for better places to post.

It's not a big deal really, the wanted list itself is hidden. There's just been so much threads like this.

Oh, and welcome to the forums, we're really a good bunch of people here :)
For future reference, OP, it's not a good idea to post requests for games in the GOG forums. For one thing, there's nothing that any of us can do about your requests. We're just other members like you. For another thing, there's a good chance that anything you could possibly request has already been requested (System Shock 2 gets asked for just about every week or so). Most members are quite sick of seeing threads like this, and they tend to be rather hard on those who make them.

On a happier note, welcome to GOG!
I love this pic :D

Gee, this is the first time anybody has ever suggested any of those games should be on GOG. Just what would we do without you here to help us brainstorm ideas of what games should be on GOG? Because, you know, it's unlikely or even impossible that anybody has suggested any of those games before you came along.

Prince of Persia? Of COURSE! We have Sands of Time, but how did nobody on the GOG team, much less the community forums, realize that the original Prince of Persia was absent, and that people might want to buy it and play it? For shame, guys. For shame. You need to pick up the slack and be more like Z0RAK!

See? this is what we keep guys like you around for! You've single-handedly generated demand enough that the guys at GOG will finally be able to work their way through the legal red tape and distribute the original Prince of Persia here.

Oh, I think your genius is contagious! I just realized that GOG doesn't have Doom or X-Com! Now that I've made this constructive suggestion, hopefully hundreds of other members will flood the forums with this same suggestion, thus making the GOG team aware of this demand, which has to date been the major factor preventing Doom and X-Com from being on GOG.

...seriously, though. I know you're new. Or, at least, new to posting on the forum. You know what I did when I joined the forum? I lurked. In fact, I lurked for several months before even making an account. That's excessive, yes, but my point is that I knew better than to make topics like this before I even made my first post.

Being a dick to a new member is not necessary.
Out of the games that you listed, i suspect that at least Trespasser won't see a release. The game had so much potential, but the released version was not only a bit buggy but actually downright broken, and they never really managed to fix that game. Also, the hand controls *shudders*.

Neither was downrepping your post, but I did it anyway. :)

Then prepare to have it thoroughly ignored..... I don't think anybody from the GOG team goes on there, except maybe to laugh maniacally once in a while, putting the favourites way off into the future of releases.

Edit: It is a nice selection of game choices, some of which I am surprised not to have seen released here already. Oh & Skunk needlessly insulting a new guy then downrepping when you get had up on it is just pathetic. Shame you didn't learn better than to be insulting & rude whilst lurking... he did say sorry and the title was obvious enough that you could've chosen to avoid it if you'd wanted.

A lot of people get excited when they first venture onto GOG and want to be a part of the community... it is a site about retro games after all and posting a wishlist isn't a bad way of making an initial bond. Besides people can chime in "This game is likely to get released, don't get your hopes up for this one etc" it does take a while to learn which publishers are & aren't on board and it's not always easy knowing who has the rights to the games. Ok the thread title is a bit daft :P & Z0rak there's plenty to sink your teeth into whilst you wait for some of those to be released. Infact I'll warrant like most of us you'll end up with more GOG's than you can play.

P.S These threads are just something we have to get used to.
