Surely EA is getting some of the profits from this too, so no its not all good, they're making even more money from people going back and buying the old games too

weirdly Enough ea is appsrently Making money With the mobile dk. My Guess Would be the "new" gamers These days just have not Really Player any computer or Even cpnsole games before. Playing n smart Phone and tablets is probably All the family experence They have - Thus money-milking take games Like This Are not frowned upon by Them. They Simply do not know Better.

What's new with EA. They clearly stated that microtransactions are where the future is at and where the company is inclined to be headed towards. Haven't bought a game from them since ME3 fortunately, on the fence for the next Dragon Age, we'll see how it turns out..
