Apparently Interceptor Entertainment have put up a teaser site for a Duke Nukem game being made by them. As of this posting the site is down for maintenance. Its one of those "Get so many likes for more info" things, so meh. But I do have confidence they will do a better job with Duke than Forever did.

If they posted it on the first of april it would actually have been funny.

Given the character and the games, a 'serious' Duke game sounds odd, but I'm willing to give Interceptor the benefit of the doubt, if that's still the take that they are going for with this project.

Yes, they had a non-commercial license from Gearbox. But it was put on hold over a release date dispute.

Yes, they were/are. They're also the ones behind the ROTT 2013 remake, so given how apparently good that game was, I'm a little more optimistic about this game than I was about Forever.

I'm not thrilled. The new Rise of the Triad was very disappointing and even badly optimized despite outdated visuals (and despite being a PC exclusive running on a popular engine). I mean, the team seems pretty cool and many things about their approach to ROTT were great, they actually won my heart with their very first trailer within seconds which barely anyone manages to do anymore, but well... I have serious doubts they will be able to handle the Duke unless they get a lot of support from more experienced guys.
