nimagraven: Lets wait and see then! *Taps foot* :P

Nah, i was just kidding :)
I don't know around here but i know some people that don't like it.
I love the entire Myst series and URU aswell so i would love to see them all in here.
But i'll be happy if tomorrow's release it's any of the games mentioned so far.
well it could be chaos gate ???

nimagraven: Myst.. Urgh. Not Myst! Am I the only one that doesn't like that game?!

No, you most certainly are not.

I'm not a huge fan of it either. I enjoyed it for the first hour or so, because it was pretty. After that I lost interest.
Myst is my guess though. I bet the correct guess was by Twitter, and Myst was mentioned as a Twitter guess above. And Ubisoft is already onboard as a publisher. So Myst may be the thing.
Another FMV sleuth game from the 90's is Seventh Guest. And it's way more FMV heavy than Myst. The rights to Seventh Guest are owned by Virgin AFAIK, who seems like a longshot.
EDIT: Also they did say "New Deal" not just "New Game". Maybe they struck a deal with Virgin.
EDIT: Wikipedia says that Virgin was acquired by French publisher Titus / Avalon.

While Myst would be kind of nice, I already have 3 copies of the first game, 2 for Mac (both are 68k/System 7 era, incompatible with OS X, at least on Intel machines) plus Masterpiece Edition for Windows, and at least one copy each of all sequels (including URU), so I doubt I'll buy it again excepting possible gifts.
I'm guessing it'll be another game that I have no interest in what so ever!
I still go for Splinter Cell.

If it is, then its time to bust out my promo code :D
Somehow 'sleuthing' doesn't fit the bill though, it would be 'sneaking' right?

But he's a spy, and spies sleuth.

they're not so much problem solvers as they are problem finders.

That's only in the new one.

Is that also your desktop background?
Could it be Spycraft?
That had a lot of sleuthing.

MaverickRazor: Would love it if it was Myst: Masterpiece Edition, c'mon GOG make it happen.
avatar
Romulus: I think its a reasonable guess. Its just because I know its not a new publisher this week, its been leaked that that is next week (from what I remember of the twitter comments from GOGcom). Tomorrow will be something 'awesome' apparently.
I went digging quickly through my feed data, but I can't find them.

It says 'new deal', though?
