It manages swarms of tyranids perfectly well. The only reason I was suspecting a unit limitation is the cover mechanic of the game. In a campaign you'd want to keep the casualties low but the shortness of most of the cover would make keeping a 5-10 man platoon in cover rather tricky
Also, there's a full CG trailer for the new addon on gamespot, VERY interesting options for the selection of units. Not a combination I expected to see fighting together. I hope they do expand the hero selection a bit though, be nice to have the option to pick any of them.
I really hope the overheat crash I had last night whilst playing DoW2 with FenixP didn't damage my lappy or I might never get to play Last Stand, that bastard gutrencha will pay for that...

I'll only play co-op with people who don't mind me shouting "FOR THE EMPEROR!" into the mic at the top of my lungs.

As soon as I get DOW II (Which believe me, I will.) I won't allow you.

Navagon: While I can't understand the logic of making it GFWL and Steam (Steam could have handled the achievements, DLC and anything else that GFWL provides)

That would've been impossible to do because Steamworks didn't have matchmaking or DLC when the game was being developed. Matchmaking debuted less than 4 months before DoW2's launch with Left 4 Dead, and DLC didn't come until a month after launch.

Aliasalpha: I'm hoping they do new campaigns at some point but that'll definitely be an expansion thing. New races would be nice too, especially chaos with actual differentiation between the gods

I await the Necrons and Imperial Guard to be introduced to Dawn of War 2. An Ork campaign would be nice, too.
As for the new update, The Last Stand seems interesting.
BRING ON THE DAKKA DAKKA!

Yeah laugh it up, I'll be back throwing frag grenades at the exact enemies you just start to charge any day now

Ah, just a case of bad timing then. Oh well.
