Ok, I've gifted in the past, but this time, I need some help so you'll have to work a bit. ;)

Here's my dilemma: I have 98 games that I've purchased directly from GOG. I want to push that over the edge to 101, but I don't know what to get for my next 3 games. To make things more confusing, I already have a good chunk of GOG's offerings that I've purchased in the past (either from other sites or in floppy/cd format) and, obviously, I have no need to purchase them again. So, I'm asking for your help! Below is a list of all the games I own that GOG offers (including the free ones, which I have not counted in my 98 purchased through GOG), for a total of 187 games.

All you need to do is tell me which two games I should buy next (that I don't already have listed below), and WHY. You may submit more than two suggestions; multiple suggestions of the same game will be randomly drawn to determine the winner (thus, it's possible for one person to win three free games). No matter what games I pick for my next purchases, the winners will be able to select the game THEY want (so feel free to select a game for me that you already own and have played).

and Robin Hood: Legend of Sherwood (if you like commandos type of games)

Crikey, that is one huge list of games so finding something to recommend is quite tough, however I am going to give it a shot.

Thief : The Dark Project & Thief 2 : The Metal Age

For a start GOG have fixed all the issues with this game, on new systems the videos didnt work and other annoyances occured (I know with the trouble I had getting my origional disc version going). Not forgetting this is also the GOLD version which has a few extra levels to pan the story out.

What makes this a great game is the whole Dark Engine Stealth mechanic, forget Sam Fisher in the Splinter Cell series, Garret is the origional sneak. Centered around a story about corruption you as Garret break into many locations. In here you thieve desirable items to sell on for better equipment on the next level. However on each level you have an objective to steal something in particular, usually an item that can be used to blackmail someone to get info to move things along.

It is a slow paced game but highly entertaining and tense at the same time, dont take this as slow and boring, it just begs to be explored and is fun watching guards do their rounds so you can plan your K.O. Some of the gadgets you have can be used in ingenious ways (more so on Thief 2) but are handy, things like water arrows to extinguish torches for example. You can also steal items like keys etc from guards and arrows from their quivers whilst they are stood in front of you oblivious. Either leave them be or K.O them with your trusty blackjack and then do something done long before Sam Fisher arrived. Pick up the person and chuck them in a dark area out of view.

Thief 2 is also an awesome game and you dont have to have played the first game to appreciate it and continue. Each game has its own independant storyline. Thief 2 does however bring more gadgets like moss arrows for silennce on metal and stone surfaces, robotic eye for scoping things out and rope arrows for getting to high places. The engine was also updated on Thief 2 and does look awesome to this day.

Great thing about the Thief games is that you can get your teeth into them, not something that can be finished after a few hours play. You can tackle each level in any way you want or just go explore the huge mansion you are robbing before doing any objectives. I can see from your list you love classics, so not to own either of the 2 Thief games is depriving yourself of some of the greatest games EVER made.

For number 2 I would say Anachronox

Another classic game from another Studio that has now died. It looked a bit dated at the time of release with being the Quake 2 engine and more impressive 3D was already available. However, the storytelling and writing make this game stand out from the crowd. Origionally intended to be the first part of a trilogy, unfortunately it didnt happen though, parts 2 & 3 never seen the light of day. No need to worry though as the main quest ties up nicely at the end, just a few loose ends but nothing that ruins the acomplishment of finishing it.

The game itself lasts for around 60 hours all told, visiting loads of different varied locations. It is literally an RPG with a Sci Fi setting which made it very unique when it first landed. Combat is kind of similar to JRPG's in that the enemies face you and you take turns attacking each other. It is kind of round by round but it all depends on how quick your attack meter fills up so attacks from other characters can be staggered to get the job done. Sounds complicated the way I have wrote it but it isnt and you get combat training within the first 10 minutes of the game.

There are a few bugs, but nothing that breaks the game. Has a habit of crashing during the fight tutorial to the desktop. Game auto saves though just before you start the training so loading back up and it works fine second time round, havnt personally come across any other bugs as of yet though.

The story itself is expansive and has some really oddball characters. They dont want to be heroes and dont realise the extent of what they are in for when starting out. Some of the conversations that you have between the group are highly amusing and the bickering and requests can be strange. For example you need to specifically find a size 5 helmet, wont go into it but there is a reason for it.

The game just plays so well, it draws you in from the moment you go flying through the window at the start of the game to its closing credits. There is just so much to enjoy and see. Dont let the dated visuals put you off a masterpiece of a story and wonderful setting.

I don't know about you but point and click adventures are always fun and with the new release of "The Whispered World" I think you should check it out. This game looks amazingly fun and has amazing graphics on top of it and from what I have heard the story is also really good. All that I think it is worth buying.

Definitely get Little Big Adventure 2. I can't say much about it because I played it a long time ago and not for too long, but it WAS fun, if you have the patiente for adventure games (not point and click like, more Zelda like). It reminded me a bit of Super Mario RPG for some reason, but it is not a RPG. And everyone says great things about it, I will get it myself when I can.

Also get Trine, the recently released (on GOG) indie game. I'm currently playing it myself and the game is a really fun platform-puzzle game, not to mention beautiful! The whole game gives you that "magical world" sensation, if you know what I'm talking about. It's the kind of game that just sucks you in for the time you're playing it, not because of a complex or engaging story, but because of the world it creates. People like to compare it to The Lost Vikings, but I don't think that's accurate, since TLV (at least the second one, the one I played) is much more of a puzzle game than anything else, and your characters don't ""follow"" you like in Trine. Also, if someone dies you can easily revive them, while in TLV it makes completing the mission impossible. Still, good game and worth the money.

The Witcher 2: Based on your list, it looks like you enjoy role playing games and you already own the first one! The Witcher 2 was given to me and I enjoyed every minute of it. Dealing with the consequences of your actions and choices was more pronounced and important to the story than in any other game I've played. Plus, the graphics are fantastic, the writing is wonderful, the voice acting is usually solid, and it's getting a new update soon (or did it already receive it?).

It's the most expensive game in the catalog but well worth the price of admission.

Superfrog
Superfrog is an awesome platform game. There are many coins to collect, hidden areas, power ups, enemies to hop on (or not hop on) and death pits to hop over. I had a lot of fun playing this game and the difficulty increases the further you go. Thank god for the level codes.

Anachronox
While I haven't played it yet I definitely plan to. I love RPGs and since it seems that you like them too this should be a no brainer if only to see why so many people have this on their wishlist and have wanted it to come to GOG for so long.

Just a note, he owns all of those. He is requesting suggestions of games he doesn't own (games not on the list). :)

Oddworld: Strangers Wrath. Solid FPS with nice quirks. A splendid combination of western and odd.

I also feel tempted to mention Anachronox, but since it has already been mentioned I'll just agree with those who mentioned it: : D

You should try Trine, a visually stunning indie platform. Your list deserves an indie game that nothing short of brilliant.

My other suggestions are Superfrog (Team 17's incredibly fun platform game that shows that PCs are also capable of platform games!) and Jordan Merchner's The Last Express, one of the best adventure games. As the GOG user Shuangli says, "This is one of the games which define art in videogames".

I'd say that at least the first Dungeon Keeper is notable in its absence from your list.

Also, if you enjoy mindless violence and extremely low-brow humor, I'll put a word in for Postal 2, seeing as you have the first one.

Also, I must mention, Worms United is THE Worms game for me. The tone is greatly different from the newer titles, yet still possesses such humor and gameplay value.
