All this talk of Mass Effect is frustrating since I bought Mass Effect from the EA Store, but I've been trying to get the EA Download Manager to work for the last few days, with absolutely no success! Apparently it's not compatible with Windows 7, so guess my only option is to revert back to XP / Vista!
I know it's completely off topic, but just sharing my frustrations!

Weird, I keep getting the "failed to initialize" error every time I try to run the downloader; a google search found a thread on the EA forums that suggested Win 7 and / or x64 is the problem, and since I'm using 64 bit Windows 7 I've got the worst case scenario!

Strange. I was using x64 Win7Ultimate and it worked perfectly. MEPC, no so much. But I got my DLC :p
