What are the chances it will be put on GoG?
It apparently depends on an agreement between EA (who own former Dreamworks properties) and Doug TenNapel, who owns the Neverhood name. I think that's how it is anyway.
That game is funny and most times quite annoying!
Claymation is an awesome lost art in video games, it's on par with Myst-style prerendered environments.

Yes, but it's OK to use walkthroughs on adventure games, if you're legitimately stuck.

It's now supported by ScummVM, so I don't think you will have any problem in that area.
