Look at the photo down-left.

lol
It's funny because it's true.

Also old, but that doesn't make it any less entertaining.
I've noticed this one a year ago, while doing the Christmas "find the altered screenshots" contest.:P

Didn't know about it before, because i didn't play Blood 2 a lot. It just wasn't my type [har har].
I think Blood is better as a game, but Blood 2 was really interesting tecnically for the time.
sin had similar in 1999

"don't play with valve"

:D

which is ironic...considering that SIN and its episodes are on steam right now

anyway, on topic - yeah I did notice this when I bought Blood 2 at the atari sale, which was a couple of months ago

funny stuff

There were alot of good parody bits in this game, and IMO it played very well(bug wise) and had some good moments. Too bad it didn't sell well.

Also a shame it was so short. I don't think it had even near the number of unique(some of the blood 2 levels were hubs you had to redo sometimes) separate levels Blood had. Also the expansion and the bad guy's skull telling stories bit was fun to watch.

There's a similar 'Oh I hate Valve puzzles' joke in Duke Nukem Forever.

Yeah didn't get to it yet(too big a backlog but played some of it).....I also heard in the one area there's a crowbar ref. as well.

There is. Quite a few references to other gaming series -- none of them subtle. I think Gearbox made Duke Nukem Forever as more of a homage to gaming than a game, and it works better that way.

Sort of like that game Matt Hazard it seems.
I felt Episode 1 was great..... i still enjoy playing ep1 and the original... its saddening they had to close the story was pretty good so far as well.

speaking of episodes, think they'll ever make episode 3 of hl2?

Matt Hazard, never heard of it! I'll check it out.

It's a newish console game(360/etc) that parodies oldschool gameplay quirks and shortcomings, along with those of newer games. It has some refs to Duke and other games as well in it.

The rest of the game has some good moments, and the expansion is even better in some ways. Also they didn't close the story. It ends on a quasi cliffhanger.

I'll be certain to pick this up at some point. I'm quite surprised I've never heard of it!
