This game is amazing! It's short, but well worth the $10. It has this amazing tense atmosphere, and the artwork is fantastic. Also, the puzzling part is pretty sweet.
Glad to hear it. I like the cartoony look, but it appears to be horribly animated based on the trailer. I decided to wait on a purchase until I heard more about whether it was any fun or not.

The animation may look rough from trailers, but it really works with what they're going for. Also, it's surprisingly dark.
Also there is a demo, you can try it before buying.

Also, the early puzzles are rather easy, but it gets really, really tough later on. The "Quorum of Crows" puzzle was hard but satisfying to solve.
I found it a bit disappointing. Many of the puzzles felt uninspiring, and there were some that were repeated in different variations too many times. Ok, I had enough fun with it to feel that I got my money's worth in the end, but with that great art style and Telltale's past record, I was expecting it to be a lot better than this.
At least it was point & click for once.
It was a fun game but with a reaaally dissappointing ending I think.
Altough the puzzles were cleverly chosen.
Yeah, what is with the ending!? Are there multiple endings? That was a total let down.
The game was absolutely great up to the ending. It just kind of ends and nothing is resolved. There were all those clues along the way, but nothing really gets tied together.
I really like the design of the game. The made up puzzle agency of the FBI is a hilarious idea and perfect for the game because it allows it to have a continuous story around a bunch of traditional old logic puzzles. The story was really great too. I love the nordic setting of Scroggins and all of the bizarre people in the town. I just wished it would have gone on and actually explained things at the end, or had some final puzzle that required you to put all the clues together. I want more, but the game left me hanging at the end.

I imagine the ending was set up so people would go ape-shit for a second game. I know I am.

I guess. I would like to see another episode. However, I would want another episode more if the ending did more with the story. Scoggins was a really interesting and unique setting for a game. The whole mystery surrounding the eraser factory was interesting, but it provided more questions than answers. I was trying to keep track of the clues I was finding along the way, only to find out that they didn't really matter much.
This game was a pilot episode. Hopefully it will find funding for a sequel. I really did enjoy the game, but if a sequel doesn't get made that picks up where the pilot ended, that will be really disappointing.
Game doesn't work for me, it has problems with the 400 series from nVidia. They have confirmed the problem on their forums, but no fix yet.
It's so fucking hard, I've basically just stopped playing it for the time being. I do like it though, I hope it's successful enough to get a second game.

Thats what all the Grickle animations do.

I found the puzzle difficulty very varying throughout the game, every third puzzle I managed on the first try without hints while others had me try three times and use up two or three hints. If anything I had a slightly higher rate of first-try-sucesses later in the game.
The inherent problem with Telltale games is that, being episodic, the endings will mostly be unsatisfying. It is something they need to work on though.
As for the animation, I can see how the simplified animation works some places. Bit other places it plainly needed to be smoother. Like in the trailer where the space-suited guy's visor goes up. That's kinda sucky. Same with the snowmobile. But the character animation works quite well like that.
