My girlfriends birthday party is on Saturday and I have no idea what the hell to get her...I'm not a bad bf, she is just easy to satisfy. Any thoughts? (Note, she likes vampire affiliated stuff and loves to read.)

Twilight!
Just kidding. If she's fine with darker tones, I'd recommend the book Let the Right One In. I've heard the movie is good as well, but I haven't watched it. The book is quite dark though, so it depends on what she's into.
Do NOT, ever, mention Twilight around her...or me because I can not stand it. I read all the books, was disgusted with the ending, and have vowed to never read any of the author's upcoming material.
Twilight is about vampires? Who'da thunk it. I figured it was just gothy super heroes that sparkled in the sunlight. ;)
Seriously though, I'd second "Let the Right One In", both the book and the movie. Could also get a dart board and a Twilight movie poster... and well you can see where I'm going with that one. Maybe one of those little pistol size crossbows rather than a dart board. ^_^

I rather a crossbow that fired stakes.
I second Let the Right One In, either book or film.
I haven't actually read it, but goddamn I want to, and I really wish I knew it was a book before I saw the brilliant adaptation to film.
But keep this in mind: Only buy the film if the back says "Subtitles: English (theatrical)." Keyword: THEATRICAL. The original DVD pressing's subtitles are atrocious.
A bag of nuts and a pair of tweezers. I'm not sure why, but I think that would be a great gift in this case.

You want a crossbow that fires cuts of beef? Umm ok.
Seriously though, the whole crossbow + 2 inch diameter wooden stake thing is beyond stupid. Those things wouldn't work past about 3 feet.

Slap her and tell her to quit the emo train, grow up, and get a life. She'll thank you in a few years.

Sounds like my wife. I'd suggest Vampire Hunter D novels, but I don't know if they were ever translated into English =/ How about movies? There's always the original Lost Boys (not that poor excuse for a "sequel")

Post of the Century.
Does your girl play games, too? If yes, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.

She isn't even close to emo. She just likes Ann Rice novels and the such...

If it is a manga, then I think she reads that...and chibi vampire

Get her some Anne Rice novels about Vampire Lestat. Interview With A Vampire and The Vampire Lestat are some of the books of the series. She writes vampires like they are supposed to be written not like some damn awful Twilight crap. I would also recommend the three Lasher novels by her as well. If she wouldn't mind a bit of a vampire comedy then I would heartily recommend Andrew Fox's Fat White Vampire Blues, the first part and THEN The Bride of The Fat Vampire, the sequel to Fat White Vampire Blues. Both are awesome books with a very unique writing style that still manages to stay true to most vampire lore.
Then check out Christopher Moore's duology about vampires that is funny as hell Bloodsucking Fiends and the sequel You Suck!.
This should guarantee you some birthday nooky... :D
Cant go wrong with a proper Vampire movie like the classic Near Dark.
