I ended up waking up the manager and he woke up a few guys from the electric company and they fixed it in around an hour. Angry old tourists, no hot water in the morning and the elevator wasn't working.
I have no idea what the actual problem was and I am useless and handling these things.

Glad to hear it got resolved. A minor bump in the morning, but at least the power is back :D

It's not your fault, these things happen.
The management should have protocols for these events, after you check the circuitbreaker panel yourself and still can't get power on to have a number of the electrician to call.

This was your best bet right there - came in to check out how this worked out as well. Glad the power's back on and hopefully everyone understands these things happen!
