Windows Memory Diagnostic is a command line prg that can be run from bootable floppy. IIRC it displays "Loading NT Kernel" somewhere when it boots but I don't really think it uses more memory then Memtest :-D

ShogunDarius: just tried windows memory diagnostic left the test to standard, no issues were found

You're right - I was mixing that up with another test. WMD had slipped my mind as well since I've pretty much exclusively used memtest or a derivative since early 2000ish. It's still the best option to work with first considering how thoroughly it tests (patterns, etc.) and it's verboseness.

Running the new memtest and after 1 cycle it seems ro be stuck at 100% on the second but still running
Just finished a 8 hour memtest86+ session, it managed to do 4 complete passes with no errors at all detected, i took pictures and will upload them tomorrow
