You have to play The Witcher. You could also try Ultima IV, or VII. Great RPGs! Remember that Sega Master System version of Ultima IV looks amazing.
Hmmm, Rage of Mages is also nice RPG/action hybrid. Lots of missions, sometimes hard.
Oh, and I forgot about Evil Islands.

Orryyrro: It's a group of D&D games released by SSI. They have a gold box for packaging, hence the name.
reaver894: Goooooogle, here boy... come here Septerra Core perhaps? Anachronox? Deus Ex mostly qualifies as an RPG but it's in first-person and set in the future.
Darklands by Microprose, The Legacy:Realm of Terror by the same company.

Actually, just use MobyGames. They feature screenshots and some reviews thus no need to Google everything :D.

choconutjoe: Tried any indie RPGs? The Eschalon games are pretty good: http://basiliskgames.com/
EDIT: Damn. Beaten to it!
I will add a third opinion to it to say that the Eschalon games are some of the best turn based RPGs released recently. Flawed, but I had a lot of fun with them.EDIT: Damn. Beaten to it!

Is NWN included in the D&D stuff you mentioned? If not, I'd give that a go. If so, have you played some of the better community made modules? There are a good number of very well done ones.
