Alright, tthere was this game, all i can remember is, taht you were able to turn the light on and off and sometimes even had to run to a glowing switch in the dark.. i t was quite an old game. You played some kind of guy with a big head, who had blond hair.
I think some more information might help, let's see if we can jog your memory a bit. :)

Do you remember the platform the game ran on? DOS, Windows, something earlier?

Could you give a rough estimate of how old the game might be?

Did the levels scroll or were they fixed screens? Any other gameplay elements you remember? Deaths, victory screens, was there shooting, was it an action platformer or rather a puzzle game, etc.?

Was it a professionally produced and sold game, or could it be some shareware/freeware product?

That old Atari elevator spy game had glowing switches but I don't think he meant that old.

fixed screens. i remember playing it on something like an amiga??? The computer had no cdrom drive. oh man i need to play it again. it is a really old game. i think the character had a high pitched scream when he got killed.
