Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines might be up your alley, even if it's not pure Cyberpunk (but quite close to it, IMO - plus, it's awesome).

try taking a look at Darksiders 1 even tho its an action game without steampunk setting the story is pretty epic

also not sure what you think about star wars but the knights of the old republic games are a treat in storytelling and the gameplay is pretty well done and easy to learn so overall its a great rpg with an even greater story

Nice one for the suggestions but I have played through darksiders 1, both kotor games and have spent a fair portion of my life on SWTOR too xD

CptFandango: Cheers for the suggestion :) Already played the hell out of Shadowrun returns and dragonfall. Also played on a couple of fan made modules and had a lot of fun with that game! just after a new experience now! I could continue with the horus heresy series I guess (I'm on the flight of the eisenstein) but I much prefer gaming to reading unless I'm either on holiday/travelling/toilet.
Oh wow when I first read your list I managed to miss the "Already Played" and inserted my own "Here Are My Choices" LOL ;)

I might have to second Dishonored then, but with reservations as it has already been pointed out that it's more steam, less cyber (though some of the gameplay conventions DO seem to have analogous cyberpunk mechanics... implants? No BUT you can get "glyphs" of a sort to "implant" a certain item you have. And your mask is basically a set of multi-vision goggles). Also it is a first person game so that sort of docks it a few points too - I know you mentioned you'd prefer something that wasn't an FPS.

Maybe track down an older Splinter Cell? Sort of cyber espionage but that might be too grounded in current world.

well in my books tor was good for a time but in comparison to kotor it sucks but ofc thats only my oppinion :D
I think this thread teaches us something

WE NEED MORE CYBERPUNK GAMES DAMNIT!

Also to our Gogly overlords - TELL CD PROJEKT TO GET THEIR BUTTS IN GEAR! ;)
Hm ... Master Reboot? It's more of a puzzle/adventure/experience game though, not sure if that's really what you're looking for.

Maybe Watchdogs, is that Cyberpunk? Haven't played it myself.

Or Frozen Synapse, if you're into tactics and fine with indie games.

I may have to give dishonoured another go (my brother has it but I couldn't really get into it, tho I could see it was a quality game). I played the first splinter cell on the original xbox but didn't really like that either, and first person is fine :) .

KOTOR was far better than SWTOR in my opinion too but SWTOR is an mmo which has a crack like effect on me, I generally ban myself from playing those nowdays. Saying that if dark millennium online wasn't cancelled I probably would have played the absolute shite out of that bad boy. Speaking of cancelled games the news about star wars 1313 was really upsetting :(

And I second the call for more cyberpunk games and getting 2077 into gear! (tho only release when ready and stable)

Ill have a google for master reboot and frozen synapse and see what they look like :) . Watchdogs looks ok but its uplay only I think so i will probably wait till my m8 gets it and have a go on his. After my anno 2070 ordeal i have boycotted uplay.

When my friend and I played Dishonored the first time we totally didn't play it right and hated it. Then we realized we needed to be more subtle and ended up liking it much more.
Good luck on the hunt :)
Anachronox and Omikron?

monkeydelarge: Anachronox and Omikron?
I have played Omikron back in the day, quality game :), I tried to have a go of anachronox a couple of years ago but couldnt get used to the controlls but the setting looked awesome, I should give that another try. I found my copy of the syndicate reboot which i remember enjoying the setting and music but not the game so much, gonna give that a bash Unless i find soemthing else. Nice one for the suggestions tho :D

It's free, I think.
Enter The Matrix was a cool game, you can't go wrong with bullet-time!

Also look up Rogue Trooper if you haven't played it yet

And then there's a game called Restricted Area which I've only played the demo of. Basically its a like Diablo with modern weapons and cybernetic implants

edit: Just thought of a classic, you might have played it before. Its an old game called Strife, built on the doom engine. Its really interesting because its set in medieval times after a cyborg race has taken over. Very awesome game
