To be honest they're not really that "cute" when they've just been born - more like something out of Alien actually : all crumpled up, red-faced and bawling helplessly. When they un-crumple, however, and finally experience something like a feeling of freedom, you can see it in their eyes : it just melts your heart. I have a photo of my nephew when he finally arrived at this stage and I'm going to keep it for the rest of my life.
