As a 35 year old gamer I just wanted to post a quick message to thank all
the GOG staff for their hard work.
I love browsing this site and finding some classic game from my childhood that
I may not even remember until I spot it and then being able to quickly download
and have it working without mucking about to get it running on modern systems.
The team does a great job.
Yes, GOG surely is heaven for us 30+ gamers :-)
Also, you can send your kudos directly to them http://www.gog.com/support/contact -look under 'other' .
GOG has some great staff!
I totally agree with you nice people. GOG is a blesing for us retro gamers, bringing back forgotten games and being able to run them is some impressive work.
You thirty-somethings are lightweights! You young whippersnappers wait until you're 40 like us *proper* 'old bastards'.

If I'm anything like my mother I'll be dead in my 40's. So not waiting for that too much. :P

I guess in seven months I become a "*proper* 'old bastard' then
The formatting of the first post is making me think there's a hidden message in there. It doesn't rhyme, it's not a haiku, it doesn't have an entirely different or funny message if you skip a line... WHAT IS IT!?!?
As an "old" gamer I am writing to second the thoughts of the OP. Great job, GOG! Keep them coming!

Me too ... kind of ... though it also reminds me of blisters, and skin peeling off my palms after excessively playing "Decathlon" ... ;)

Back on topic: I completely agree with the OP. :)

That means I chose well :) Of course, I chose that item as an avatar to signify my love for "classic" gaming and to show that I'm on GOG mainly for the oldies (both those that are already here and those that I hope will be one day).

(Decathlon... the ultimate joystick killer!!)
Being old is awesome.

What?
Speak up I can't hear you!
Huh?
Where am I?
Where are my teeth?

Oh yeah, this is awesome. :P
