If it is possible, how can I view the games I own in my victual shelf sorted by category I want, for example genre or type?
RPG, Turn Based, etc.
If it is not possible, Hey GOG, could you please make it possible?

That's not possible, although you can rearrange your shelf manually to get them in those categories. But that's hardly ideal. Maybe drop this one on the wishlist.

You can simply type in genres in the search field in your shelf area, e.g. rpg or action.

I REALLY wanted this feature until I sat down and manually tried to arrange it by category. HA! Fat chance! There are way too many ambiguities with the vast majority of games here to pin it down. How do you classify Spellforce, 'RPG' or 'RTS'? What about Planescape, 'RPG' or Dungeon Crawl'. And then of course Flatout, 'Racer' or 'Track & Field'? I will say when I alphabetize I would like the correct order for series but that's a minor gripe to say the least.

That actually works good enough for me that I could care less if they update the shelf at all.

As others have said, wow!
It's not a perfect solution but it is a solution for now. Thank you very much.

I hope GOG does something more....perfect about this.
