Congratulations. That's an accomplishment to be proud of for sure.

Entering a GA less so... though that isn't going to stop me. I'm in.

Will definitely be sampling the book.

mrkgnao: Concerning your writing. My advice is persevere, persevere, persevere. It's worth it at the end.
It also helps a lot if you find a writers' group near you, the kind where the members review each other's work. Ours met once a week and I got quite useful feedback, despite being skeptic at first.
I was extremely lucky (i.e. spoiled) in my endeavour. My wife was most enthusiastic and we agreed that I would not work while writing the bulk of the book. She supported us for three whole years in which I didn't work, but rather wrote full-time.

Cover image is really good! Though, I will not read this book - you see, English is not my native language, and reading books with dictionary is not so fun.

Congrats, mrkgnao, and well done! I'm about halfway through the excerpt on Amazon, and I've got to say, I really enjoy this so far. I'm an incredibly slow reader, and as a result I'm very selective about what I'll read, and it's not often that I pick up something unexpected / unplanned and read it in earnest. I've put this on my amazon wishlist, and will probably pick it up once I'm done with the two books I'm currently making my way through.

I did commison someone. And now that you mention it, he is on Deviant Art (http://jeremyaaronmoore.deviantart.com/), but I didn't find him there. I just googled something or other and found his website by "mistake" (http://jeremyaaronmoore.com/). He's real talented and nice to work with.

Actually, at first I approached someone on GOG, whom I knew to be an artist, to do the cover, but it didn't work out...

Thanks. It looks like I need to look in earnest into publishing this also as a paper book.
P.S. The Australian one would actually work for you (once you register some smartphone, tablet or PC Kindle-reading app), but it's rather an obscure message on Amazon's part.

Also congratulations on publishing a book. Its been an avid dream of mine for years. Ive started half a dozen times but then life jumps in the way and I never get back into the writing. I still swear ill get around to it someday though.
