To show my appreciation to this great community I am going to have my first giveaway. I will be giving away two prizes of a $9.99 GOG game to the lucky winners. I will pm the winners the code for the game they want after the contest closes.
When I joined this community I was looking for classic point and click adventure games. I was buying some wherever I could find them but getting the classics everyone was talking about was tough. I heard about GOG.com and found the classics I was looking for. What I also found was a great and generous community of people I have really enjoyed being a part of. I have learned about so many great sources of games. I have learned about games I would never have heard of. I have been educated on a number of topics, some game related but more about what people are dealing with in their personal lives. I have also received great games through the many giveaways. This is my way of saying thanks and to pay it forward.
Now for the requirements. Minimum of 20 rep. Contest will close as close to May 30th ( my birthday, at which time I will turn the big 50 ) as I can make it. Post if you are in. I remember awhile back a thread about favorite classic music from your country. I enjoyed watching the videos, so if you want to post a video of a popular song, in your country, or just a current favorite please do so. This is not a requirement just something I would enjoy. I will use random.com to pick the winners.
I would appreciate a bump if you notice this thread is getting left behind.
