Aatami: As for Vanille, I dunno, I find her weirdly endearing. Must be the accent. Is it Australian or New Zealand?

Are you fucking joking?
The NZ accent sounds nothing like the whiney Australians. That accent in FF13 is Australian.

Regardless of her accent, it honestly sounds like she is having sex half the time. Everyone in my house thinks I'm watching softcore porn.

<resists urge to make the obvious `Everyone in my house thinks I'm playing FFXIII' joke>

Haha, yeah, when she went behind the pillar to retrieve that weird staff...

Just for clarity, that wasn't me who said that.

uruk: Count me in . i just like killing things and then i reanimated there corpses.

Well I was very afraid about the dub when I first hear some samples, but even if there are many cringe worthy moments so far it's at least it's not FFX-bad...
About eight hours in, so far voice acting is excellent.
Sometimes I'm wondering if this is what Killer7 feels like, though.
*Possible spoiler*
That segment in Nautilus with Sazh and Vanille was awesome.
I don't want to spoil you ,but
*Spoiler*
Vanille and Fang are a canon couple. The assholes who translated it, turned it into a sister relationship >_<
This game has almost made me want to start looking around for a 60GB PS3 to play it on.
Almost.

Almost.

Well, it's pretty much the sole reason I finally went ahead and got myself a 360.
That, and Banjo-Tooie on Xbox Live Arcade. (Still need a wi-fi adapter, though...)

My brother has a 360, so I'll probably end up playing the game on that. I'd rather play it in higher HD HD on a PS3, though.

Oh man, is a port of the old N64 game? I was aware of Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, but not this. That's awesome! I'm sorely tempted to get it.
BTW, the Wi-Fi adapters are a total ripoff ($90). It's cheaper to get a refurb (~$30) and reflash it with DD-WRT ($0) to use it as a wireless network client, allowing your Xbox to connect without their official, overpriced product (priceless).

I agree, though I got tired of it never working correctly with the D-Link wireless bridge I already had (despite firmware upgrade, and the xbox seemingly being able to see and set the bridge's settings), so I paid the MS tax and got the official adapter.
