So I was talking with my fiancee's brother the other day and having a laugh.

We were discussing the main point of life was the priceless enjoyment of fuckin' off people whom take life far too seriously.

Instead of falling into depression and complaining about what life could've been, God has provided an infinite amount of people to troll.

Ever since the nineties there was a desperate cry for multiplayer modes and nowadays a lot of games have ONLY multiplayer modes and I believe the main attraction is that it creates the perfect virtual opportunity to really piss off someone whom does not live any where near close enough to retaliate in a physical manner.

I've spoken to several online headset gamers who've told me they always leave their headsets muted but sound on so that they can hear the passionately angered screams and curses of other online gamers who they are royally ass-clowning.

Having a think about this, one game that is utterly perfect for screwing around is Saints Row -- especially with it's "Throw" feature.

I have to double check if SR3 in online playable and if so that might be the one and only multiplayer game that I remain loyal to.
and it is people like you which have made me hate multiplayer with a passion, and now refuse to touch anything resembling it because I might bump accidentally bump into someone like you.

Thank you very much for ruining that experience for me.
What is "Phemonon"?

Yet another reason to be glad I don't do multi-player. :-)

That's interesting - whenever I feel down, I still try to be as kind to others as I can, in an effort to make their lives and, accordingly, the world a slightly better and more hospitable place.
In multiplayer I try to do my best, I'm truly proud of the few times others have praised my skill and - whether cutthroat or casual - I enjoy the atmosphere of mutual respect when playing.
If being a dick and pissing people off is what makes you happy and gives your life meaning, then more power to you. For me, bringing unhappiness unto others doesn't give me more happiness.
I hate to jump on a bandwagon but I'm with the majority on this one. I don't have a problem with giving shit to someone so long as it is mutual and stays between me and that person. Sure, there are a lot of people who take the virtual world too seriously and maybe from time to time they might even deserve a little flack, but there are a lot more people playing on line just so they can hang out be groovy and have a good time and it is horrifically callous and selfish to ruin their time just so you can get your jollys picking on one or two.

I'll get off my soapbox now. :)
Multiplayer, especially the online kind, never ceases to remind me of Lord of the Flies, only with less crying at the end. Man, I hated that book. Likewise, I try and avoid real humans when playing video games. :P
Meh. I like multiplayer some of the time. It helps a lot that I don't use my mic or just tune other mics, unless I'm with a team or just striking a conversation it's not really necessary. Getting a group of friends together for the multiplayer makes it so much better.

Or maybe I'm missing what the OP is trying to get across.

And now the forums are adding unneeded spaces in between words... :l

Dashe: Man, I hated that book.
Ugh. Me too.
Once upon a time, people played the game. Now, they play the other people trying to play the game.
Welp, I'm depressed now.

Pretty much this.
I havn't actually been to an online game in a while, is it really "Lord of the Flies"? I mean I knew it was getting bad but pig heads on stakes and hunts and kids killing kids!? Far out!
People like you are reason I don't want to play multiplayer, and primary reason why I give up on MMO-s (Along with Poles, who seem to have largest ratio of idiots/online player. Every time I saw siema without one of well known clan tags, I assumed he was idiot. In most cases I was right.) You people are self important cunts that are actively trying to make my(and everyone else's) free time as worthless and as shitty as possible. I don't want to spend my limited time by working on bypassing likes of you. It's even more annoying when you somehow make it to higher levels in game, so you can fuck it up even more for everyone. While hated my WoT general's method of dealing with you, he killed you himself so he doesn't have to put up with you few minutes later. Looking back at it it is probably best thing to do, but it still fucks up balance and game for you.

Also if you posted this here to troll bit more, that makes you (fill in appropriate word)

This.

If you ever want to scratch your ass like a pagan on your first eclipse, watch this guy's posts; intelligent and without malice.
I'm sorry but did I just see a racial slur in here!? Please tell me I read that wrong.
