okay before i spend my money wanting to get into a duke 3d room with 5+ ppl i wanna know (if possible)how to play thease games w/ out giving my haxer friends my ip

Trust me, if your "haxer" friends are going to do anything to you, they don't need you to specifically give them your IP. There are other ways of finding it.
But the bigger issue is, if you think they'd do something to you, are they really your friends and do you want to play with them at all?

You call these people friends and you can't trust them as far as you can throw them?
As for IP masking, it's a lost cause unless its universal. They could glean your IP from that post you just made if they knew about it.

That'd be a bit more difficult, they'd have to have access to the GOG forums... but then again if they're good that shouldn't be too much of an issue. ^_^

Most likely they are just script kiddies who say that they are "1337 hax0rs" or some such BS.
