Good grief, WWPHD?
Australia: No fun allowed
I'm sorry, does this surprise anyone? I mean, really.

I believe lining up and shooting all those stuffy old religious fucknuggets who seem to think their opinions on things they know fuck all about simply must be written into the law would result in almost half a century's progress pretty much overnight.
Any vocal groups talking about this in Australia? I mean, shit, if stuff like this happened in our country, we would organise a mass picnic in front of the parliament just because. And buy the game en masse over the border, lifting it up in front of the policy makers, and shout "Your petty regulations mean nothing!"

For god's sake people, you've got to stand up for yourself. If this keeps on like this, don't be surprised if they start giving away mandatory pacifiers.

Religious fucknuggets aren't the only people who want to censor games. Just look at China. If you want to entertain yourself, look up some of the ridiculous changes World of Warcraft had to go through to be deemed suitable there. I suspect the censorship in many other countries doesn't have to do with religion at all.
Australians, rise and fuck up your politicians' heads.

Martin Luther King reincarnated :)

Well , since rioting seems a new hobby in a lot of countries you australians might as well join :)
To good a game to be left unplayed.

Its tyrannical control freaks who think they know everything, religion is optional but by no means exclusive of that.

Here, however, its a matter of an obscure restriction enmeshed in decades of red tape and poorly thought out laws
Damn. I would hate to live in Australia, what with the censored L4D 2 and the game banning. MK has never been my particular brand of fighting games (I'm more of a Street Fighter and MvC kind of guy), but I would be pretty outraged if my country kept me from buying a game I wanted.

I thought things were changing over there and they were taking the industry more seriously? Guess I was wrong.

EDIT: Also, apparently New Zealand won't be getting the latest MotorStorm game, because they think the subject of an earthquake is too sensitive for the citizens right now.

In Australia they're the ones who're pushing this sort of censorship the hardest (I'm looking at you, Australian Christian Lobby). I figured getting rid of them would reduce the pro-censorship-tards to insignificance.

But yeah, I do realise religious asswipes aren't the only stuffy old fucks who tend to ruin normal peoples' days.

Damn, I should move to Slovenia. I'm already a Slovenian citizen so it shouldn't be that difficult to manage.
