$1.75 after GMG30-DPLIM-DN831 coupon. steam keys

Anyone getting this?

am still deciding, it uses GFWL which is a big turn off for me. Is the graphics different/improved?
nope it's just the arcade titles running under emulation but has issues with sounds and a few other things
I'm pretty sure the graphics are the same
I have not seen it on steam but console version was just plain old MK with added online multiplayer. Online was really laggy but they tried to patch it. If you play solo or local this is just Mortal Kombat as you remember it. I'm thinking about getting it but have heard that there were no patches on pc.

Also if you dont have an account yet you can use
http://www.greenmangaming.com/?gmgr=biqevajo
after first purchase (min 2$) our accounts will get 2$ credit.

yeah they didn't bother with patches since the PC version came out alomst half a year after the console versons so the "fixes" were already added
I was considering this as well, but have You read the comments on that page?
"No local multiplayer." (waah?)
"Terribly optimized: FPS drops where it shouldn't, game locks up for no reason..."
"Sound effects play randomly or don't play at all. FPS drops constantly. Multiplayer is laggy beyond belief."
"No resolution options, even if you modify the INI files. You need a third-party mod to change the resolution."

And some other dude:
"high system requirements thanks to the Unreal engine", "laggy unplayable multi-player", "unchangeable key-bindings", "Logitech gamepad problem", "inability to set player 2 controls on keyboard", "bugs (some of them came from XBOX version)", "lack of support - the game was never updated since the release"

Are they overreacting? If there's a "player 2" how can there be no "local multiplayer"?
But with GFWL on top of that, I don't know...
Sound issues are 100% accurate I dont know about the local MP but it should be there. I just cant imagine ripping it out of game since you can play mp on rom without problems.

yep got this game thanks to a friend on gog

i played it and found it to be fun
the main headaches are gfwl , gfwl updating, logging in
the game does run a tad slow probably due to the unreal engine but the online matchup as well the games emulate well.

thank god they included a move list in game already throwing out fatalities.

for whats the price its worth getting it

Never had a problem, and this is with games I own and play on the PC that I own on a SNES.
I remember reading a few reviews saying that this edition sucks. But for that price...
