tinyE: I wasn't thinking of it but since you mention it what do you have?
Actually, if it's your first playthrough and you didn't hate what you saw of the default graphics, I would highly recommend you start with just the basic patches and go have fun, vanilla-style. Then, on your second playthrough or character, go nuts on graphics mods and be amazed when you revisit the different locations with their now enhanced looks. I can tell you it's quite the experience.
What is with the hall of bugs and fixes? I figured it was part a tutorial for the mods but then there is the vampire and the mood thing. I know about werewolf but I havn't read ANYTHING about vampirism in any of the mod docs or booklets. Is there even a point in going down there other than to snag those few pricy little jewesl next to the book?
Well, it would appear to be a major cheat according to what I found on line. The consensus seems to be, look down there but don't take anything as it gives you a way unfair advantage early in the game. I'm still curious about the vampire thing though. I thought Sims2 was a bitch to play as a vampire, this looks much harder.

Qwertyman: Sorry to hijack the thread, but I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfcE9Xq-Cx4&list=UUKk076mm-7JjLxJcFSXIPJA&index=78

Watch from about 1 minute in to about 1:08. That quick little segment there looks like Morrowind assets in the Skyrim engine. Does anyone have any information about these shots?
There's lots out already about being able to visit a section of Morrowind with this expansion (technically, it's an island off of Morrowind -- but it shares the same landscape).

It'd be great for some modder to use those assets and rebuild Morrowind inside of Skyrim. Surely someone has some time on their hands. :D

Well yes, as I have linked a few posts later, they're already doing that. Not using the Skyrim assets, but using the original, Morrowind assets. They have already done so with porting Morrowind into Oblivion's engine, so it's not something to be ignored either.
Does gender make a difference in stats? I'm too lazy to go look at the numbers myself and the only stuff I can find on line are pertaining to gender/NPC interactions which is obvious.

No difference whatsoever.

Fenixp: No difference whatsoever.
Hold on, gender does make a difference. For example, a female dunmer will have 40 personality, but a male only 30. Check this page to see all the differences.
All RPGs have a gender difference but it is usually VERY minor. That's what I was checking. I'm kind of odd in that respect; I'm a guy, I've never wanted to be a girl, but I always like my game charcters to be female. I guess I was always attracted to the female bad ass ALA Red Sonja or Kerrigan* or Zsa Zsa Gabor.

*Kerrigan as in StarCraft NOT the skater!!!!

Meh, I'm a guy too and many of my characters are female. Playing with a badass warmaiden character is always satisfying. :)

This applies to a lot of guys. Strong female character is something of a mixture of badass-essness (whatever the word) on par with males and good looks. And I like to admire the rear view (in case of a 3rd person view game). But sometimes it's the female VO that clicks better with me than the male's one. Though I never considered playing as a female Shepard from Mass Effect, despite so many people prefering her.

I recommend Linora's Leveling Mod instead of GCD.
