Fenixp: Oh so you did have enough money for Grimrock, eh?. How much is it, 12 bucks? Hmmm, yeah, I hope you enjoy it. I really. Really. Do. Really.
I did not, and that was the problem :( I don't like instant noodles at all. It is high up on my to buy list though, and time is even more of an issue than money right now.

DCT: Here we go again. I swear people keep acting like it's been months since GOG released a classic or GOG. It's really silly having such a knee-jerk reaction, yeah I get some people just mean that they want to see more older releases each week which I take is the OP's intention but the problem people need to keep in mind is it's not easy getting these alot of these old games out on a regular basis.
Since they have to find out who owns the rights to the game, get them to agree to let them sell it again which in alot of games cases is a lot harder then it sounds take System Shock 1 and 2. The rights to the game were split between EA and Looking Glass EA had the publishing rights while Looking Glass had the developmental ones but EA never renewed their half and Looking Glass's rights are in the hands of a collection agency who sound like they basically want their cake and eat it too,for lack of a better term as there willing to part with the rights but still want to get royalties from it. Plus EA still can at anytime reclaim their publishing rights so they have to find a way to get both parties on the same page, pending EA and the collection agency which has the developmental rights to SS are even interested.
Then GOG has to go through the process of play testing and fixing the game so it can run on Modern setups that's if the game can even be fixed up. All of which is very time consuming.
So often times this will cause them to only be able to get one GOG out each week while newer titles are easier to get out on a regular basis since there much less work involved. So they can say release titles like say Dungeons of Dredmor, Assassins Creed 2, Penny Arcade Adventures, Sanctum, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution in the amount of time it may take them to get say The AD&D Gold Box games, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, Wizardry 1-8 and Grim Fandango out to us. Which means more games and more profit for GOG and more sales and profit for GOG means they have more to help them attract publishers sign on with the site and so helping them get access to more of their classic games.
I know wizardry 8 works but the other version no clue and your so right about testing all the games and making it playable on modern computers are totally epic and amazing though...I would just flip if someone published a non working classic and when you run it would just give you a black screen and then when you manually try to reboot it would just crash your entire computer now...that would make a lot of people extremely angry...Right there would it?Since they have to find out who owns the rights to the game, get them to agree to let them sell it again which in alot of games cases is a lot harder then it sounds take System Shock 1 and 2. It's not as bad of a mess as say System Shock's IP but it still something that GOG would have to work out if they were going to re-release the game for sale.

To quote TheEnigmaticT:
"The legal system was never accused of being quick."
Guess that is one reason (among all others) they can only release like once a week.
