groze: OK, people, this has been said before, but GOG doesn't have an agreement/a contract with Microsoft.

foxworks: But, but, but.... *kicks rocks....
Hey! Watch where you kick those rocks!
All the Flight Simulator "games". They did not develop the first one (ones?), that was Sublogic if I remember correctly) but I think they bought the company.

I miss flying between the Twin Towers.

Tpiom: Speaking of Microsoft, does anyone remember a game called Impossible Creatures? If so, was it any good? I don't remember anything :/
Oh, you mean the mix-and-match RTS that I happen to hold a copy of? How about an obscure title by the name of Hover?

zeffyr: Just one and I'll be in heaven: The Neverhood :-)
That game belongs to EA, not Microsoft.

You're right! It got messed up in my head, because of those Neverhood copies which Microsoft was giving out 15 years ago.

Johnathanamz: Microsoft is going to be developing and releasing video games for sale for PC again. Microsoft said that they will most likely release every single Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One exclusive video game for sale on PC on Steam and possibly gog.com. I think it's because Steam is so huge on the PC right now.
Source? I have never ever heard anything about that. The only game that they have recently released for the PC was Halo Spartan Assault, which was originally a mobile game for Windows Phone, not a Xbox 360/Xbox One exclusive. Considering the fact that the Xbox One is taking a beating from the PS4 and that Phil Spencer recently said on Twitter that they're 100% focused on making the Xbox One better, i doubt they will focus on PC gaming that much.

Here is the first source of ign.com talking about it in a article.

http://www.ign.com/a...-great-interest

Can't find the second source but it is on neogaf.com somewhere.

Also Phil Spencer did say that they will release more video game for sale for PC.

Can you relink the article? The one you gave isn't working.

I don't know, but I think it may be this one. Purely based on the snippets of the URL Johnathanamz posted.
i dont see microsoft listed as the publisher on the game page ? someone bought the properties , if so buy monster truck , moto cross , midtown madness series and age of empires 1 maybe zoo tycoon 1 too

Well, if this is the one, then i really don't know where he took that information from. Nowhere does the guy in the article state that Microsoft is interested in porting Xbox/Xbox 360/Xbox One games to the PC.

No it does not say that Microsoft will be porting Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One video games to PC. Microsoft is interested in it because of Steamboxes and SteamOS since Steam is the biggest digital distribution retail service on PC Microsoft will be stepping it up.

Also as I said Phil Spencer said he is interested in releasing more video games for sale for PC.

The neogaf.com leak also has Halo 3 in Steam's Steamdb registry and Microsoft showed off Halo 4 running on a PC to show off the capabilities of Azure.

What does that prove, exactly? Most console games run on PCs at some point during development, especially when the console hasn't been released yet. For example, at the last E3 all Xbox One games were running off Windows 8 PCs with dual GPUs (including Forza and Ryse). The fact that Microsoft has a demo of Halo 4 running on the PC proves nothing. It's not a technical issue, but a marketing one. They want exclusive games to sell more consoles. And i don't think they can afford to lose exclusive games right now while they're gettting their asses kicked by Sony.

The leak thing is a bit more relevant, but it's not new by any means. The Halo 3 entry on Steam database has been there for more than one year. It's a real possibility, but nothing else. Don't turn a rumor into a fact.

And let's be honest here, there's a fucking huge difference between Microsoft offering one old game on Steam (Halo 3 is 7 years old now) and claiming that "Microsoft said that they will most likely release every single Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One exclusive video game for sale on PC on Steam and possibly gog.com. I think it's because Steam is so huge on the PC right now".

I still want to know where you took the information from. You know, offering "every single Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One exclusive game on PCs" is a bold claim. I can't see Microsoft selling old Xbox exclusives like Midtown Madness 3, Blinx, Kingdom Under Fire, Bloodwake and Fusion Frenzy on Steam. I mean, they probably don't even have the source code for some of these games (developers and publishers have a nasty habit of not keeping the source code for old games). That's why i wanted proof.

Here's some proof.

Here's proof #1.

Loco Cycle was exclusive to Xbox 360 and Xbox One now it's been released for sale on Steam since February 14th, 2014 Microsoft Studios publishes Loco Cycle.

Here's proof #2.

Project Spark was Xbox One exclusive Microsoft never mentioned it will be released for PC for sale at E3 2013 then about 1 month later Microsoft announced it's coming to PC. It's on PC now in beta.

Here's proof #3.

Max: The Curse of the Brotherhood was Xbox One exclusive and I think Xbox 306 as well now it's for sale on Steam. It's published by Microsoft Game Studios.

Halo 3 is going to be released for sale for PC on Steam since it's registered in Steam's data base.

Halo 4 may be getting released for sale on PC.

Many more video games from Microsoft will be released for sale for PC. Watch you will see.
For me can be great to GOG have all Combat Flight Simulator games, all Mech Warrior games & all Dungeon Siege games.
