michaelleung: I preordered the game, but I'm a little nervous about the stuff I'm getting. I wasn't a terribly big fan of Monkey Island to begin with.

DarthKaal: Hum... so, why preorder it? Especially when we're talking about a digital distribution, everyone will be able to have their copy in time.

Except for when the regional restrictions kick in...
Nah Telltale are a cool company, approaching GOG level of cool, they'd not screw their customers over like that.

I have my doubts....
They're one of the few companies that seem to be run by gamers rather than automata in suits. Also the best customer service I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with
New Trailer

That trailer looks promising, it wasn't funny but it seemed to capture the spirit of monkey island well enough.
Elaine's back to her "British" accent, huh? She had it in Curse, then they had a different actress for her in Escape and she lost it, and now it's a different actress again, but the accent's back. And no Earl Boen for LeChuck, which is a little bit of a disappointment.
But at least it's still Armato as Guybrush. That would probably be a dealbreaker for me if it weren't him doing Threepwood.
Well I'm sure as hell looking forward to it, even the hair
Nice to seen that night scenes are less bland that day scenes. Now I just hope that all the game is setting at night.... hum... well...
Anyway, I like what I've seen in that trailer. Getting really interested in it. Now I just have to wait a full season release...

Why a full season? The preorder thing is still going & its pretty cheap for the amount of content you get, 5 MI games plus a code for another free telltale game

Aliasalpha: Why a full season?

Simply cause I'm not an episodic player. I don't want to play a mini-game, and wait the next month to play again.

Let me just fix this: "5 parts of 1 MI game, plus a code for another free part of a telltale game"

Well thats fair enough but you could still preorder, get the series and the free game and then not play them until you have the lot.

Well, to be honest I have the habit to not preorder anything, especially if I have to pay to wait the full release.
I'm really really interested in this game, but I can wait. No new MI game since 9 years now, 6 months more will not make big difference to me.

I don't mind his hair in the game its his face they seem to have gotten wrong, he looks like rodney from only fools and horses. I also don't like eliane they seem to have changed how she looks alot.

Well I've preordered, atleast they have one of the original designers working on it, and it looks like they really improved the interface and not just changed it for the heck of it.
