If you've finished the game and are impatiently waiting for the third installment of the series, we encourage you to look at some POSTAL 2 mods.

The POSTAL series is known from its irreverent, butt-splitting social satire, streams of pee and some inspired weaponry, among others. It probably won't be a surprise if we say that the mods for POSTAL 2 will bring you even more of this, right? There were lots of different POSTAL mod projects launched, but unfortunately only a couple of them were finished and released to a wider audience. Thankfully the ones we've found brought us a lot of fun and gallons of spilled blood. Check the POSTAL 2 mods here.<br>
All this violence makes me want to kill someone... in-game, of course.
I've wanted to get Postal 2, but hesitated due to lack of replay value. Now this might change my mind. I do have questions though: anyone played all 3 mods, and how long does each one last? Is Lost Island open ended, non linear?

AWP byfar is the best, it melts in ED and ApocWeekend... Makes the gameplay quite longer. ED itself is fun to play since it really give you a survival feeling and there are so many places to explorer and survive your zombie onslaught. The island one i never tried but im going to give it a go right now. Oh in AWP there are a few games in the arcade you can get virtually suced into and play from inside the arcade, also a survival mode at a school that was overrun by zombies!
Besides at this price you cant beat it, even with the Fudge Pack from RWS GOG still wins.
I played through the original game and the expansion way back in April and I loved it. But for some reason I haven't messed with the mods, I think I will soon-ish. My hard drive got filled up by FEAR 2, so after I finish that I'll check these out.
And dang, the download for ED is larger than Postal 2 Complete.

I have probably gotten more replay value from Postal 2 than all the other FPS games I have combined. Playing UT2004 online is a distant 2nd.

Cool. Where does the replay value mainly come from, the main game or mods?

I'd say that's a kinky question... The main game HAS replay value, it has actually been noted by the game's creators that many people play the original game from start to end many times and still don't discover everything there's to discover in the game. I know I haven't, even though I've played Postal 2 for hours and hours (without mods). I've also tried all the mods mentioned here and gotten several hours of enjoyment out of them even though I have yet to complete any one of them. All in all, I'd say you get a good amount of replay value from the main game AND the mods. When you combine them, you get HEAPS of replay value. And besides, sometimes it's just pure blood-loving fun to go out on a random killing spree (in-game, that is)!

Both really. I really love the Tora Bora area. The AI is fun to play with (i.e. running NPCs who are attacking you into cops while you are unarmed just tickles the hell out of me for some reason.) I like the Airmail & Special Delivery mutators for multiplayer too.
Hmm... that mod looks pretty intense xD
Will have to give Postal another try, didn't enjoy it much the first time.
