I'm not usually one to be attracted to young shapely blonds with big eyes and sweet lips, but this sweet little muffin is sexy and adorable. I'm usually more into barrel shaped women who stand under five foot and swing an axe. But Lisa is just plain awesome.

Too bad she's useless.

Her Top 5 show at The Escapist might be the single least interesting video blog on the site. I actually miss I Hit It With My Axe after watching Top 5. Clearly, they saw a geeky babe with a quirky personality and said, "wow... nerds will love her... let's think of something we can have her do."

So they thought for a minute, then someone said, "No, let's not think. Just put her in tight pants and have her list stuff."

What a missed opportunity.

Putting a hot blonde on video listing top X whatevers is a desperation move, used when site visits begin to wane. It's a tactic designed to draw in traffic from the WWW's majority demographic.

Top 5 lists in general are all about ratings (or web traffic in this case). Obviously having a pretty woman presenting these lists just drives that point home. It's all pretty cynical really.
