The first post was in bewilderment and wasn't even a negative remark. There is nothing crude about it. The basis for my own opinions were note only backed up in a numbered list, but CITED with a well-known and respected individual in the animation industry. The reasons included a desire for original properties rather than ones crafted specifically around toys, a preference for the objectively less constrained and more artistic hand-drawn method of animation, a desire for a script that did not rely solely on tropes developed from other shows, and a lack of interest due to the show being made for an audience that is far younger and far more female than I am. I don't see how that is baseless, so fuck off.

Seemed like just an MLP thread to me. I didn't see any "Splooging Only" rules set up, it seemed like it was put there to discuss the show. I didn't realize half of the entire set of possible opinions was so entirely off-limits that the very idea that you have to actually have to back up direct insults to a person's character. On a related note nondeplumage is a homophobic racist.

Bringing direct insults to PEOPLE IN THE DISCUSSION should be the last fucking straw, not "WAH HE DOES NOT LIKE A CARTOON I LIKE".
