It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

The thought occurred to me to make a thread devoted to those GOG members who have "disappeared." If there is someone you know who no longer frequents GOG.com, feel free to ask about them, here. Who knows? Someone might actually have information about them....

For myself, I am wondering whatever happened to RowdyRodimus. He was active as both a participant and contributor to the community, here, and then he just sort of vanished.

The last posting I've found for him is this one which is dated November of 2010.

Well, to be fair, some people used to see far more of him than they wanted to, if you get my meaning.

Not only that, but the part of him that was covered, was covered by something that people didn't want to see either ;-)
On a mostly unrelated note, there is sort of a point to having a service which goes about telling your internet friends that you're dead if you are indeed, dead.

It's a pretty well known fact that people can die even if they're on the internet, it's just that the internet mostly doesn't get the news, and so takes to wondering where said people got to.

In Weclocks case I strongly suspect autoerotic asphyxiation, possibly involving a gas mask.
Weclock is always online on Steam and never on GOG. BETRAYER!

He's usually on IRC, along with many of the old timers who kind of gave up on the forum.
You have to love the reputation that Weclock earned for himself there. :D

Whats GOG's server?

Also, can you please recommend some IRC client?
I think the reason we dont see a lot of the "old guard" is that they dont use the general forum much if at all, if you look back a lot of current threads have been discussed in the past and I can see why that wouldnt interest them.

Also I tend to see some older members in game specific forums more.

Thats just my oppinion.

I honestly miss the weird chats I had with him :(

#gog on Quakenet

As for IRC clients, I'm a fan of XChat (payware) or the free build Silverex but I guess ChatZilla is also nice if you use Firefox (though I like keeping my IRC client on even when the browser is closed) or even mIRC.

I use , though it primarily being a multi-protocol instant-messaging client makes it a bit too bloated to use JUST for IRC. [url=http://www.opera.com/]Opera is decent as well, but the same thing applies there if you don't want another browser taking up space.

Beyond those, I haven't found one I really like.

For a pretty light-weight one, there's the chatzilla Firefox addon, if you keep that browser open anyway.
Where's Ralackk these days, and more importantly, have GoG confirmed they had to change currentRepPts from int to unsigned long in order to store his reputation points?

I see him in specific game forums from time to time and also on IRC; he's less active now though because he got a job which is eating into his free time.
