Huh. How does one use an IRC client to connect to an 'IRC' channel?
RowdyRodimus simply wasn't around for very long. It's probably just a case of him moving on. I've done that with a few sites when things change too much (or not enough and things stagnate).

That said, he did mention having disabilities. I hope it's nothing related to that.

Rondel: Weclock is always online on Steam and never on GOG. BETRAYER!
See also: Hypocrite. But then that's to be expected given that he was always so highly emotional all the time. Goes with the territory.

Khalaq: For myself, I am wondering whatever happened to RowdyRodimus. He was active as both a participant and contributor to the community, here, and then he just sort of vanished.
He still owes me a $9.99 GOG from a Halloween Contest he ran last year. He PM'd me something about getting arrested for trying to break up a fight & that it might take awhile...that was in November.

Well, at least I got the GOG he owed me (Space Quest 1+2+3) from my family for X-mas. But if anyone's feeling generous, I'd still like Police Quest 1+2+3+4.

Runehamster: Huh. How does one use an IRC client to connect to an 'IRC' channel?
Well, you use an IRC client to connect to an IRC server (in GOG's case it's Quakenet) and then to the channel.

If this is an honest question (it's still early and don't parse irony yet) you just have to type /server irc.quakenet.org and then /join #gog
I actually made a thread very similar to this topic some time ago...

Runehamster: Well, to be fair, some people used to see far more of him than they wanted to, if you get my meaning.
avatar
Wishbone: Not only that, but the part of him that was covered, was covered by something that people didn't want to see either ;-)
Boxer shorts?

stonebro: Where's Ralackk these days, and more importantly, have GoG confirmed they had to change currentRepPts from int to unsigned long in order to store his reputation points?
avatar
AndrewC: I see him in specific game forums from time to time and also on IRC; he's less active now though because he got a job which is eating into his free time.
Yep pretty much that. still about a bit though.

I have absolutely no idea why any makes a thread on this forum... you have made a thread on everything.
What about that walking animosity generator GameRager? Haven't seen him in a while.

well...almost everything...

Rager has a post in the afore-mentioned thread, in fact. Here's the link.

I wouldn't be surprised to find he's mellowing out, however, and is therefore keeping a lower profile. Most people tone down their anti-social behavior over time. Look at me, I no longer leave strange messages on my answering machine, such as...

"No! NO! Not THAT! Anything but that! Not the beep! No! PLEASE! Not the beep! Anything but THE BEEP! AAAAIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE!" *beep*

tejozaszaszas: Some members that were very active diring the beta phase and not after, Arkose for example.

AndrewC: He's usually on IRC, along with many of the old timers who kind of gave up on the forum.
Holy shit we're oldtimers now?
