Aren't most of those console games? I do realize that some were ported, but I don't think those genres were ever really big on PC.

I remember playing a 2D version of mortal kombat on win 98 long long time ago :) maybe they weren't so popular... oh, just a thought :D

Doesn't PC as a platform have like an abundance of free fighting games or something? You know, stuff like and [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=15bvpznQP5M]the best fighting game ever..
