Anyways, some of the CSS is still not being pulled properly, worked fine before the update. Getting some blank buttons when I hover over them here and there, but they still work properly.

Well, it's still really bugging me. I've tried everything that I could think of to get IE9 to play nice with GoG and my game .exe files, and nothing has worked.

With enough patience, persistence, trial and error...there's a solution somewhere or somehow, but I have not uncovered it as of yet. Glad yours is working fine, but my experience has been the polar opposite (same thing as the screen shot I put up earlier).

It's funny how it's fancy to diss IE9. Funny because in most modern browser tests, IE9 is fast, stable, and secure method to browse the web.

Sure, it's not the best, but it's not near as bad as it's used to be in IE6 times.

And Chrome, for instance, is getting slower with each new version.

IE6's bad reputation is the main issue, I think. I used Firefox up until the release of IE9, and then I switched to IE9 (using IE10 right now).

To each his own, of course, but I find it so funny when somebody tells people to ditch IE for security reasons, and go for Firefox instead. :D

I think you MIGHT enabled too much adblock and Tracking Protection on that IE9.

If anyone is experiencing similar issues to mine, that'd be a good option to try.
If you have problems with Firefox then try Comodo Dragon instead. It's exactly like Google Chrome, only without the invasion of privacy concerns. Either way, downloading the add on called Adblock Plus is one way to dramatically improve your time in the series of tubes.

Totally! I use Opera because it's fastest (at last when new versions come up), and also because of solid email client.

Chrome is way slower with opening multiple tabs at once (many browser tests show that), and has horrible browsing history (not to mention uploaded on google servers).

You were right, thank you very much! Was really, really bugging me.

I reset IE9, then changed from bookshelf to tranditional view - viola! Works now. It only works in the classic view and not shelf at all still, but I'm glad it at least works with IE 9 with one of those options.
