jamesbuc: I downloaded through Guilty Gear X2 and thats still the old installer too.
as far i know this one didn't get a v2 installer , that's explain it (i could be wrong sure)

I checked again and a few of my games still don't have their 2.0 installers back online:

Ultima Underworld
Ultima 7 Complete
Empire Earth

I believe their was a 1.x .x patch available for Divine Divinity, but its not showing up either.

This doesn't apply to me, but Gothic and Gothic 2 are no longer showing a German version available for download.

(I'm trying to remember here, so please forgive me if some these points is wrong. I'm pretty sure EE got a 2.0 update :))

I sent a support ticket with this info in FYI

all games didn't get a v2 installer; judas probably fixed the issue

the patch for divine divinity was useless since the installer got patched. iirc.

the only issue i can confirm is for gothic 2 -> no german language installer...

Yeah, I have about 90 games, and a good number of them haven't gotten updated to 2.0 yet, but these last 3 games I am pretty sure did get a 2.0 version and aren't showing up. The games I was most concerned about are showing up properly now though, so no big deal.

You are right I think Divine Divinity's main installer was updated, but I remember it being something like 1.0.1, but its showing up as 1.0.0.

Empire Earth Gold Edition doesn't have a 2.0 installer at this time. The other two do and have been fixed along with Gothic 2 and Gothic 1.

gothic 3 + gothic 3 ee have a v2 installer for german version and not for english version o_O , what's this oddity ?

furthmore , it will good to check if they ain't no more games with wrong version to download, it's not possible to do so for any of us.

Sorry to be dense but how can I check what installer my games have? I've looked at 'My Collection' and can see no reference to installer versions. Thanks.

I don't mean to be a bother either, but it would appear that I've spotted several titles without their 2.0s. Unmechanical, SYMPHONY, Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventure, Zeus + Poseidon all appear to be running on the 1.0 installer, and Creatures: Albian Years, Interstate 76 Arsenal, Creatures Exodus, Earth 2140 and 2150, Knights and Merchants: TPR, Populous: The Beginning, Worms 2, The Incredible Machine Mega Pack, Tales of Monkey Island, Riven: The Sequel to Myst. Tropico 3 and Reloaded, Trine, Psychonauts, all of them don't even have a version number listed! :O

v1 installers have either 1.xx or no number in their executable installer name / .bin files

v2 installers have always 2.xx in their executable installer name / .bin files

as far i know :

symphony, unmechanical ,tales of monkey island, riven; psychonauts never got a v2 installer

for others (i don't own them) i can't check directly the files , i can only check with a md5 file you find here

download the gog.com game list in the skydrive folder (second icon from the upper left)

I just add : you need to check manually your games shevles : because gog got the "good " idea to not put a notification in the system update when a game is getting v2 installer.

that's how i just noticed the whole gothic series get a v2 installers....

Is it possible you do something to prevent people to download older installer when this happends, wasting bandwith for both parties ? Because either files are corrupted, either games have mixed files from different versions :/

not everybody have super fast bandwith ; this is a serious concern ...

The only problem I see with preventing people from doing something is that it could be misinterpreted as something not working. Of course, that's just my view of it.

yes, i can understand your concern ....

but i'm sure something can be done , to avoid the final result i discribed. If nothing is done people will blame you for mixed files or corrupted files ...

i will prefer to have a warning instead of starting to download files and having this result :/ , but that just me ;)
