My lottery numbers didn't come up again either...

Anyone?

On a more serious note, there are loads of people giving away Witcher 2 codes all over the forums, so I'm sure most or all of those who missed out will probably end up with a copy.

i don't know, should we all, who got shafted now hunt around the forum for people who give away the promo code?

i think preferable and fair would be, if GOG let people get their last stamp on 25th, like the countdown and promo promised. today in the morning it didn't say, you can't get the last stamp anymore, it said, in 8 hours will the last stamp become open, not that it disappears.

You can try here: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_soon_to_be_expired_thread/page4

I know there was at least one post looking for Witcher 2 recipients...

Edit: Or the good ninja community of GoG could just give you a key :)

I just wanted to say I feel sorry for all the people that are annoyed and feel like they were wronged and mislead by GOG.

Just to make this clear, since someone accused me of being "paid by GOG" on The Witcher 2 subforum just because I was defending them, GOG doesn't offer me anything, aside stellar customer service and a selection of great oldies and indies at affordable and fair prices, all DRM-free. I know how this sounds like PR speech, and I understand how I can come across as some sort of GOG "undercover spokesperson". I am not. I feel genuinely that way.

I feel really bad for all of you who tried getting The Witcher 2 for free (and The Gamers, as well, even though no one seems a bit interested in that awesome movie) and are experiencing problems getting your e-mails. I also know I sound obnoxious as hell by saying people should "just be patient and optimistic", but that's all I can say, right now. Like I said, I'm not on GOG's payroll, and I have no actual idea of what's going on, all I can do is speculate.

Please, make sure the e-mail address you entered when you created your GOG account is an active one, because that's the address you'll get your codes in. Be sure to check your spam inbox, as well. Don't spam GOG support with trouble tickets right now, because I'm sure they're answering them all as fast as they can, and they're trying to sort these things out. Of all the interested parties in this, GOG has the most to loose, so trust them a bit more, they're the ones who can't afford losing potential customers and having this kind of bad publicity.

I haven't been on this community for long, but I try to be an active member as much as I can, and this isn't my first GOG promo giveaway, and all I can say to you is that this whole process isn't as automated as something you'd expect from Steam, for instance. Steam is a behemoth of a monopoly, and they can afford the infrastucture to support promos like this one way better. GOG is a much smaller company, and these things tend to be slower and less "fluid". If it's of any interest to you, you also get a much more personalized support from GOG, due to it being a much smaller -- and, thus, much more human -- company. They take longer to reply to your trouble tickets because they have actual people replying to your issues, one by one.

This isn't to say you shouldn't feel bad -- you absolutely should, it's your prerogative --, I'm just trying to say I wouldn't be so hard on GOG. After all, it's not like you paid an absurd ammount of money for a product that wasn't delivered.

Well, you could always buy me a nice little gift if you win. If you don't buy a lottery ticket though and they do come up, don't tell me...

Check your PMs, message me back if you use it or already got one already :)
I thought there was going to be a last stamp today as well ... did I miss something?
For those that missed The Witcher 2 gift, I just hid a gift copy in another thread ;-p

If I recall correctly, the sale ended at 9am US Eastern time. From what I understand, many on this forum already had the game and/or movie and will gift them. I am new here; but, everyone seems very generous.
Let me preface this by saying that I mean this in the kindest way possible to those who genuinely missed out.....

The sale went on for 14 days & you only needed to collect 7 stamps. I completely get that maybe a very small number of you could possibly have only been made aware of the sale with 6 days of stamps remaining, and that you thought you could still squeeze in that 7th stamp today.

But.

There are also many users here with very low rep, claiming to have missed out. For all we know, you could have already gotten your free Witcher 2, and now you may just be key-seeking for future profit.

As a GOG veteran, listen to me when I say that it pays to be active in the forums. If you're at least somewhat-active, fellow GOGlodytes will be more inclined to believe you, sympathize with you, and try to help you when you cry foul over something.

That said, I still have a Witcher 2 key that I don't plan on using. First person to PM me who I feel is trustworthy can have it.

[EDIT] My code has been gifted to Jimusmc. :-)
