Does anyone know the platform you download from?
I assume you will not get a Steam key for this right?

If so instant purchase, but I don't want to spread my games all over the place. So far I've managed well to restrict it to GOG and Steam, and a few on Desura.

It is displayed in screen after you purchase and you receive it through e-mail.
You don't have to sign up for an account over there, but you do have to leave your details (bankwise).

Ok, thanks. Seems very convenient.

I am tempted, as I don't own Oblivion or Skyrim (and never played them). If the offer lasts for a few days, I'll probably bite.

Yeah, I am also surprised this didn't receive more attention. I guess most people who wanted these games already have them. But still, Skyrim jumps to the bestseller list in Steam as soon as it goes on sale...

Bummer, this would have been a great birthday present... Anyway, I have too many games already, I shouldn't feel bad... :D
