In Final Fantasy 3, you can change their classes as much as you'd like. You should probably go ahead and switch out the Onion Knight for something else until you actually hit the 90s.

EDIT: Oh, and I'd like to enter please.

FraterPerdurabo: Thanks a lot for the tips guys. I switched back to White Mage and the game is infinitely easier. The Mages also have higher sequence, which really helps you pace through the fights unscathed! I'm probably not too far from finishing the game, currently at level 48 and just killed Bahamuth and Leviathan. Might play FF1 after this if I have enough holiday left.

As for the job, thanks for all of the best wishes. For those who were interested, I got an offer from a very good law firm to work in a fairly niche area of law (a niche that I'm very much interested in). The hours are long but I love the field and obviously the pay is very good. Decade+ of grinding IRL has finally paid off!

I'll pick the winner(s) probably later tonight! Thanks for the tips and the wishes!
Not in, but wanted to also wish you some big congrats on the job...awesome bro :D. Also a +1 for your generosity. Have a great 2013 (sounds like it's starting off on the right foot!). If I ever get caught smuggling blow through Heathrow, can I look you up? ;-)

As for white mage, I have NEVER finished an early FF game without one. Their protections and heals tend to be essential!
