I cannot believe I didn't find out about this sooner, check this out people:

Uploaded a picture of what the game looks like in 1920x1080, beats the heck out of playing it in 640x480, only downside is the UI elements are smaller.

Unfortunately not, there's apparently no way to hack the resolution in 6 or 8.

Thanks for posting this - despite regularly using wsgf.org I didn't realise M&M VII could be played in higher resolutions!

That looks cool but what about other screens like inventory, quests, shops and many more. How that looks in widescreen? Also cutscenes.

Everything has the correct aspect ratio, it doesn't stretch the 2d elements, so it's letterboxed in the top-left of the screen, for example inventory:

The cutscenes don't stretch either, the screen is just all black except the 640x480 box in the top left.
