As this is a website for people enjoying older, deeper and often more story based games, doesn't this mean that the middle age of the users is probably a lot higher than in regular game forums? Would be interesting to know if I'm right or just foolishly prejudiced. So what say you? How old are you really?

My own age is actually 19 which should make me one of the younger users if my theory is correct.

Now this thread has reach almost 90 replies and I can based on the information read out that the middle age seem to be somewhere around 26 - correct me if I'm wrong and keep suppliying your ages ! :D

What I've also found interesting is that a lot of the people responding to this thread are either pitying their old age or claiming that they look or act younger than they really are. Does this mean that people are coming back to this website too feel younger - to feel like they in some way can relive their younger and perhaps happier selves? If this nostaliga is the case - why is it the video games that we are coming back to? Ponder this:)

31 years of age be I.

Your theory is probably partially correct, but I have been surprised by how many younger folks post here.
Well, I'm 28.

Perhaps we need a GOG census?
Well I was born in 1975 so I'm now... but that can't be...sigh...36 :-(
This thread may interest you, although I have a feeling the average age has dropped somewhat since then.

Oh, and I'm 33.
22.
I'm 24. I'm smart for my age or stupid for my age depending on who you ask. Likewise, I'm childish for my age or too serious for my age depending on who you ask. ¬_¬
oh, here I am thinking I've got unic thoughts:p But it does seem as my theory is correct, still it is strange, on a market were games get more and more generic, ypunger audeiences should seek redemption in games apparent on GOG. Still, I guess forums for older gamers are rewarding in their own right.

I'm going to assume you meant "unique", though imagining you meant "eunich" would be interesting indeed. ;)

I doubt most people even realize this place exists. It's getting bigger, it's even endorsed by some places such as those responsible for the Eduke32 project, but most people probably have to have sought this place out to have found it.

The question is "how are they not rewarding?". GameFAQs' forums exist primarily for the younger demographic, it's the older gamers that need a refuge, and this is as good as any.
17 now. Pretty much came here because there was the suggestion (before GOG opened) that LucasArts could release their classic adventure games here. They still aren't here, but I still discovered a bunch of games I never would have played.

21 but I have a wife and kid. If you account for soul sapping that puts me at thirty, give or take. Taking the big green weenie in the USMC may account for a few more. Then there is the treatment my liver has taken from said factors. Oh my God, I'm dying.
20 here. I actually stopped for a second to think about the age. Was gonna write 21. :D

Yes, it does. I'm in my forties, and sorry to say this but it flies faster as you go.
I'm 31
