This game is being released in three days, and seems like a STALKER-esque RPG. Any opinions on how it will turn out?

It looks very interesting, but not at all like STALKER. It's more like CoD: Post-Apocalyptic Warfare, I think.
I was going to get it but then they canceled the PS3 version for the time being for "Business reasons". There are some things that look awesome in it, but the whole timing your exposure to change your mask filter seems like its going to get REALLY annoying.
Like Zeewolf said, it's a much more straightforward game. The choices you make are pretty much limited to how you deal with the various combat situations you're faced with. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing. But I was also hoping for something a bit more open at first.
Uses Steam afaik, for those that are interested in such things.
Very much a FPS game by the looks of it, but it has the potential to be as well received as something like Bioshock.
I quite like the "ammo as currency" bit of it, that might make things interesting.
Looks fun, but I am probably going to wait for a sale. Something about it just doesn't feel right. Not sure what.
That being said, I plan to buy the book it was inspired by next week, since the US English translation gets a reprint :p
Waiting for reviews, but so far I'm very positive towards this one. Could very well be a hit.
Hope its like Fallout

The fail is too epic for words...
I admit it looks interesting and I would probably have pre-ordered it, if it wasn't for the fact that it's published by THQ and infested with SteamWorks. And that's not because of any issues with DRM as such, but with the way in which Valve tend to handle THQ published SteamWorks games in my region. So I'll be avoiding this potentially good game until it's in some kind of weekend deal as I refuse to pay full price -- and thus give Valve their maximum possible profit per unit -- in such situations.
You still get Red Faction Guerilla for free if you pre-order. Sounds like a decent deal, but RF:G has been on sale for like 5 bucks on D2D already. I believe you got it for free if you bought Darksiders too.
Also, RF:G sucks, honestly.

Sounds like they're trying to discourage spraying your gun like a rampaging maniac. Which is always good.
So I take it I was mislead with this game. Would you compare it to a Fallout 3 atmosphere with Far Cry 2 gameplay? I'm just trying to get an idea of what it's like.

Here's a good link with some info on the game, and some video to show the atmosphere etc.
