Crosmando: Some people don't know how to take a joke more like. I am planning to buy a 3DS for SMT IV this September and a PS3 for Persona 5 next year so I certainly don't care if people game with consoles. That said, I don't think anyone can claim that this game won't be better on PC.

GAMES TO RECOMMEND:

Red Dead Redemption (Though the Xbox Version is better in temrs of controllers, its still worth it on the PS3 since the GOTY version is on the same disc)
Metal Gear Solid 4 (Obvious reasons)
Dragon's Dogma (get the Dark Arisin version that adds more content and fixes)
Demon's Souls (If you like both Dark Souls, you will feel right at home)
Yakuza 3 and 4

These are games I have confidance you would play, now for the if you are interested category:
Uncharted Trilogy (Its just a linear corrider setpiece game, but its the best of the kind, and I say its worth it at the cheap prices they have)
The Last of Us (Though I think the game is extremely overrated, I had fun with the gameplay)
Heavy Rain (I find this game charming despite it's flaws, and unlike Mass Effect 3 your choices do matter)
Beyond Two Souls (Don't own it, but it looks interesring)
inFamous 1 and 2 (Even though the first game looks like shit for a PS3 exclusive I mean the graphics look like Saints Row 1-2, on a console that gave us Uncharted and Heavy Rain)
Never cared for Resistance even though people say the first game is good. The 2nd's campaign is too COD, the 3rd game brough back good elements from the first game, but I never played it.
Killzone 2 and 3. Heh this game just uses gimmicks to make it look like a Crysis level grahpics. The FPS is the cinematic style that you see in CG game trailers and the Film Grain is everywhere. Masking what the game really looks like. And the controls are quite clunky since your character moves like a (real person with real body physics)

Indeed VC was a nice title as well. I don't have any console anymore but the ps2 and ps3 has a library of great Jap titles with epic story. Yakuza 3 was a beast as well.

dont pay too much attention to jamyskis posts and replies. by the way he is acting here on the forum, i assume thats some kind of hidden sony advertisement for which he is paid. its an answer to the question, why he is posting here and not on the official sony forum or wololo.net!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps2 i recommend especially suikoden 3 (only in jp and us released)

and if you have a psp than you can also play vc2 and vc3

I got Yakuza 3 on a sale when a video rental store I got to was closing down and entering liquidation. I bought the game and a film for 6 dollars each.

Yakuza 4 it was the last thing one Gamestop had. They did not give me the game in a box sadly. Though it is in my Yakuza 3 case in a paper container that Gamestop usually gives.

too bad I don't own a ps3 anymore I do miss games like yakuza 3 and other JRPG's. Most people hate them for being slow paced but that's so great about jap games. You start slow and build relationships with characters (although they are fictive). And from letting your horse poop in middle of the road to let enemy vehicle slip so that they get knocked over in MGS5, I'm glad Kojima didn't westernize the title too much and keep the silly jap humor in it.

It's an improved way to build your army. Did you play Portable Ops? Well, here to recruit soldier you need to grab them and put them on your vehicle each time. THAT was painfull.

Fulton was also used in Peace Walker, one of the better MGS (and a bit underrated) mgs titles. Here in mgs5 fulton doesn't work inside buildings though... but then again you can recover goats to mother base :p

lol such a pain in the ars. Sometimes you had to drag them across the whole map to the starting point and you couldn't carry them either. Really slow process :s

Yeah, a bit, but MGS has always been weird. The fulton recovery is present in Peace Walker too.

Why I never thought the Fulton Recovery was THAT whacky of an element. Its basically a reverse parachute. It flys you up in the sky to be caught by a helicopter or plane. Lets just say its not as whacky as the things you do in Saints Row 3 and 4.
