cogadh: Current rumor is they are responsible for the Netflix outage this weekend that still isn't completely fixed, but no one is admitting/claiming responsibility for anything (so far).
They just keep on making fans don't they? They likely wont admit it because people would be royally pissed off. Then again that didn't stop them enjoying their private lulz at Sony while millions were pissed off being unable to play online.

ne_zavarj: I wonder what Lulzsec wil do the next time ? Will they shut down the airport navigation systems ?
yeah, on Christmas eve. One off duty cop will be waiting for his wife's plane as well. Lulzsec's secret goal is to free a Columbian general from captivity.

Yippe-ki-yay, motherfuckers!
Is it true that the Lulzsec so-called leader was arrested today by combined forces of FBI and Scotland Yard ?

I hope it is true. Because I don't like the fact these guys are uploading stolen databases on torrent sites where everybody may use them in harmful way.

Hacking and stealing is one thing, but making this public is far worse.

Read the last few posts, we've just been discussing this. The police are claiming he is a member of their leadership, LulzSec say he's just the guy who set up the IRC channel, nothing more.

Oh God, my blood pressure is spiking. Do I have time for TV schedules? NO! Are any decent rental stores still in business around me? NO! Do I have the money to buy every movie I want to see? NO! Don't touch my Netflix.

I mean take over the controls of the navigation systems of the airplanes and make them crash .

The Fanbois maybe, but after that fiasco I got two free games. Granted the games were on the cheaper end of the spectrum, but I personally was enjoying the lulz while it lasted.

Sony can do impropitious things with red hot farm implements as far as I'm concerned.

The mistake they made was starting to go after targets that weren't so reviled.

I think they're just trying to misinform the masses. What is strange though, the speed of FBI actions.

I know it's IMPOSSIBLE to stay anonymous in the internet, it's possible to find ANYONE, whatever stealth techniques they use, but not that fast...

KavazovAngel: A faking mazing, NOT!

A European person is being sent to the US to face trial... What the fuck?
The crime he commited had impact in U.S. so U.S. have the jurisdiction. (also Scotland, because it's the place where crime was commited, but they don't seem to be interested in prosecution)

My Sony kicks puppies, what does your Sony do?

LulzSec went after the CIA, that gets the FBI off their collective asses pretty quickly.

Well yeah, Bethesda, Sega and now Netflix. Companies people actually like. I get the impression the reason they don't go after companies we would like, like Microsoft, Apple and Google is they simply don't have the ability. They are picking on the easier targets, the ones who never really had to have high security before.

You say U.S. has CIA agents all over the world? ;-)

Err no. Or you might as well say the US is the Internet. The US is currently trying to extridite a guy who ran a TV streaming service in the UK. Because US citizens used it the US claims it falls under their jurisdiction. If you are fine with that then we are headed for a VERY dangerous place.

Team America: World Police would no longer be a joke.

I only said Netflix was a rumor, no one has confirmed that yet. All Netflix is saying is they had a "technical issue". This might have nothing at all to do with LulzSec.
