Merry christmas to all.

I'm 25 and I still hardly get any sleep the night before christmas morning. Still a kid a heart I suppose.

orcishgamer: Why are they dried first? Why not just eat fresh ribs?
Back before they had fridges and stuff, it was a way to preserve the meat. But the process of salting and drying gives it a really strong and (IMO) awesome flavour.

The downside is that the meat can be hard to digest. And as expected, I ate too much. I always do... :-)

Ok, hope you all have a good rest-of-the-Christmas.
Merry Christmas everyone!
Merry Christmas! :D

You're welcome! I can't believe I'm the only one awake here >.<

Delixe: Actually yes but Poitín is so lethal I wouldn't clean my toilet with it. Only the Irish would look at a potato and think... yep I could make a drink out of that.
lol!

It does sound lethal, and very much like all Europeans. Worst experience was drinking homemade grappa when already drunk. Never again.
Happy Holidays
I have a new computer! It is so awesome!
Visiting my parents at the moment, and typing on my new GOG-packed netbook. Merry Christmas all! Have fun with your families and enjoy those GOGs!

Thanks for the info. Do they just salt dry or something more (I'm guessing some herbs or something since you said strong flavor)?

Congrats! Now we know what you'll be doing for the rest of the day/week (^_-)
Yep, trying to see what this computer can do and trying to find a good rpg engine that allows turn-based combat.

Have you played KOTOR? It's $5 on Steam right now. Also all the obvious D&D games from GoG. Oh...huh...maybe also Silverfall, although I'd have to check, haven't played that in months.
