Ghorpm: WTF? I don't use Steam at all but I clicked the link because I was curious... and my price is 9.99 € discounted to 8.99 €. Can anybody else from Poland confirm it?

EDIT: screenshot added

JudasIscariot: I checked it out and I see the same thing :P
8.99 € is 4 times less than 35,99 € How can you sell the same game with such a huge... nah, why do I bother? I don't even use Steam nor I ever will ;)

Regional pricing, I suppose.

Rincewind81: Gamergate is selling a DRM-free version. Deep Silver seems to have no problem with that... ;)
I was not talking about the DRM-free part but more about the "same price for everybody" part.

CatShannon: If this game comes to GOG.com for a reasonable price I might consider picking it up. (In fact, I’m currently kind of waiting for this game to show up here on GOG.com).

Gersen: Given that the game seems to be a direct sequel, you probably should play Chains of Satinav. (Also avoid reading too many thing about Memoria if you don't want CoS spoilers.)
No interest. I had the pleasure to test the (unfinished) game for two days and while I really liked the graphics and atmosphere, I didn't like the main characters and lost all interest in the game at one point. Memoria at the other hand sounds quite interesting to me.

I've also read from people who didn't play the first game that they had no problems getting into and following the story of Memoria.
So, when is it coming to GOG?

Well the main character of CoS is one of the two main characters of Memoria. But then again I haven't played Memoria so I don't how much ties it has to CoS (except for it being the continuation of the CoS two main characters story), I suppose there is probably the small "story so far" intro telling peoples who haven't played CoS everything they need to know about the plot.
sadly i am impatient and just bought it off steam. Daedalic releases are must buys for me.

I know. But a good deal of the story is about the new character, Sadja. And it's her who for some reason makes Memoria interesting to me.
Any news on that front? I sent Daedalic an e-mail a while ago and have yet to receive a reply (I doubt they'll ever respond, to be honest).
I wrote them again on their facebook page. So far no answer there either although several people have asked.
Funny! I thought about adding another comment about the release as well today.

Rainy weather today. It’s a perfect day to start a new adventure game.

But seriously, it's kind of strange that news had it that Memoria will be published via Steam and GOG.com end of August and now there isn't even a single word here on GOG.com about the game.

... And here I was, pretty much convinced Memoria's GOG release would be a given. Tomorrow, maybe? We can only hope.

I got an answer a few minutes ago on facebook:

"Hi Piran, Memoria will be in a couple of weeks on GoG."

"Weeks"? Surely, Daedalic must have meant "hours"? ;)
I'm wondering what the reason behind the delay might be. Pricing-related issues, most probably.

Thank you for relaying the information to us, Piranjade.
