Thank you for the great title!

Count me in, pls.

I enter giveaways only for games I actually intent to play and since I love Deadalic's (just got the first part of the Deponia series) work this one seems like a great title :)

Sci-fi is cool, but I have always loved a good adventure like the original Indiana Jones movies.

I'm in :)
My favorite movie genres are distopian sci fi, thrillers, film noir, most of what's considered "arthouse cinema" and some westerns. And yes, that's a lot, but I can't pick just one :D

Great giveaway, trenton! I'd love to play the game since I found Satinav quite intriguing, and I gather this one improves on it. However, it doesn't quite sit right with me, for whatever reason, atm. Instead, please count me in for jamotide who seems like a suitable recipient and ought to enjoy it :-)

We've talked a bit about entertainment preferences, and while I like science fiction, its movie offerings have been outright mediocre. The occasional space opera can be good, but beyond that, the blandness and clichés come thick and fast. Over the last few years, I only recall being pleased with Moon and District 9, and even they were only decent as far as science fiction goes. In fairness, I don't think literature has done much better either.

Instead, I tend to favour the darker and/or cynical comedies. Think Four Lions, Wag the Dog, maybe a Guy Richie flick if I'm looking for a wackier serving. I love when movies take their more serious and dramatic counterparts, all those political thrillers and save-democracy-and-world-peace convolutions, then wring them for every drop of humorous satire. Same with science fiction, come to think of it, ergo GALAXY QUEST! See, there's logic behind it all XD

Is Blood Raven 40K? I've been meaning to get into those, but I decided to start from the Eisenhorn stories; when, is another matter :P

As to Sanderson, I read his first books, absolutely loved The Final Empire, but he's been slipping into more predictable and uninspiring style ever since. I intend to check The Way of Kings at some point, when he's suitably near the end of the series, but I somehow doubt he'll return to the tight pacing, focus, and character development of The Final Empire, or even Elantris. Hard to impress me with fancy magic systems any more ;)

There is strong character development in The Way of Kings i assure you :)
I said Blood Raven and meant blood song, sorry!
I'm in, thanks!

I don't know if I have a favorite movie genre, because my favorite movies are from different ones, but I like Sci-Fi (Back to the Future :D).
I'm in, please.

Many of my favorite movies are scifi (2001, Solaris), but I wouldn't say I love the genre. Too many funny-looking-people-in-space movies. I guess my favorite genre is cops and robbers. Bank heists, mafia, bonnie and clyde - the movies don't have to be great for me to still love them.

Cheers.
