So we're supposed to think this site is racist because it is just for black people and you feel excluded? I thought it was racist because it offers working at McDonald's as a viable career option for blacks.

This is so true, yet they'll never understand it.... they are just looking for a escape goat from their own hypocrisy & it just happens to be Australia's turn to cop it.
With that said, its not quite racism that is the real problem, its the overeaction of the media proclaiming racism or by being racist itself that gets the mass incited...
e.g. Cronulla Riots - Alan Jones... or more currently the US Media's claiming 'all' Australian's as racist
These fuckwhit reporters are just doing it to get on the front page.
Australia isn't a racist country, we dont have the kkk, holocaust, slavery or any other national policy that discrimates based on colour, race or sex, but that doesn't meant that we dont have people here like that, after all we are a extremely multicultural country that has all types of people here so we're bound to get some idiots here & there.

Interesting blog read regarding racism from someone who isn't Australian but has actually lived here unlike those dickweeds elsewhere who really dont have a fucking clue, but just want to get their names on the front page.

Well, no one said that what 'the media' broadcasts was mainly made for sensible people, by sensible people. Same thing (though in a lesser degree) for politics, actually. The realization that the majority of those running our country probably have less common sense than I do was kind of an eye opener.
And yeah, the site is annoying, just like feminists are annoying. It's so old fashioned. Countermeasures like positive discrimination are important when negative discrimination is a problem. However, the positive discrimination tends to be assimilated in the social awareness as a 'good thing' and as such lives on long past the negative discrimination.At least in my social environment most positive discrimination is seen as unnecessairy and hurtful for those it's supposed to help: it assumes your life is difficult because you are treated differently and thereby also assumes that naturally, you are treated differently because of some quality.
Now, of course I live a sheltered life in a little world where everyone is judged as a person instead of as a member of a group.

Well sure, we have something like that here too. Really, we could never have done more to completely ruin the society of gypsys than to keep protecting them. I think basically all that would be needed for them to integrate into society again would be a few well deserved slaps (they have kinda grown to abuse the system that's protecting them on all fronts - they are literally acting like spoiled children).
But no, even calling them 'gypsy' is an offence nowadays, they've had to think of a new name for them. But, of course, no one will be ever doing anything with that. They will still gladly give them money, so they can live, 'because they can't find a job,' they will still keep giving them apartments for free - and I would give my left leg to have one of those, and ... so on.
The saddest part really is that it's not only taking definition of 'racism' and completely changing its meaning, it's also ruining of an old culture.

Bottom line is, we're all in the same boat, and all conceptions of race, nationality, culture, religion, and borders is irrelevant.

I'd love to see him say that to Obama. Saying black people have no power and can't be racist is... *drumroll* you guessed it! Racism.

"Political Correctness" is a term the Daily mail / Express use to attack anything they don't like. The correct term would be "respect" or "politeness". But I agree, most people say bollocks to those these days.

Good god, I seriously hope not. But maybe that's because I've experienced things from the other side of the immigration issue, which of course most people who complain about haven't. Infact they've rarely experienced it at all..... just read inflammatory articles about it.
Anyway, who's gonna evaluate the immigrants if you shut down the department? And who's gonna bother voting EVERY 6 months?

Most things are made for white people (though usually unintentionally), they just don't announce it because they assume a white majority where the whiteness of the culture isn't mentioned and white culture is just treated as regular culture. If there was a white365.com people would be right to be upset because it would not be serving an underpriviledged group-- it would be serving an already socially priviledged group. Granted, there are economically disadvantaged white people too, but there are options for them. It's harder to be economically disadvantaged and black.
Just because we have a black president now you think racism is over? Then in the same breath you get upset that you can't call people nigger without getting heat for it? Come on! I'm sorry if someone called you honkey. That was rude. But you should be upset that someone was rude to you based on your race, not because you can't yell back "stfu nigger".

It's irrelevant if we ensure it's a non-issue by treating it as a non-issue.
